Vinod Stainless steel pressure cookers are made from 100% Virgin Surgical 18/8 Stainless steel.   This grade is also known as AISI 304.      To ensure you uniform and faster cooking we have used an extra thick aluminium at the bottom.   The total thickness of the bottom is 6.5mm.     This also ensures that the base always remains flat and does not bulge. We use a base of stainless steel of Grade AISI 430 grade.  This is  magnetic and allows you to use your induction cooktop.   You can of course use these on gas stoves as well  electric, halogen and ceramic cooktops.    This also helps in covering the aluminium which tends to show pit marks or corrodes after years of use. The mirror finish of the body and the stainless steel layer at the bottom stays bright, and looking as good as new after years of use.   It also makes the pressure cooker easy to clean and hassle free.  The silicone gaskets lasts longer and our totally Odour free
