Kawan Original Chapathi is made from a simple dough of whole wheat flour, water, and a pinch of salt. The dough is kneaded until smooth and then rolled out into thin discs. These discs are then cooked on a hot griddle or tawa with a little oil or ghee until they puff up and develop golden brown spots. The chapatis are soft, pliable, and have a subtle nutty flavor from the whole wheat flour.
